Decentralized IT governance

During 2015 mini-workshop at GBI we have started to review a broad family of emerging Internet technologies which we called distributed IT governance systems. The goal of such review was to come up with a conceptual perspective to the emerging technological space. This gitbook is such conceptual perspective -- we propose to frame the technology space using concepts of synchrony, asynchrony, centralized and distributed systems, emerging consensus and relations between them.

Please note, that this document is a work in progress, therefore may contain inconsistencies, imprecise or even wrong usage of concepts or terms. We hope to eventually correct them.
